MEET OUR TEAM
Ashutosh Wahegaonkar (Ashu) has over 17 years of clinical experience. He has completed his Master of Physiotherapy from University of Queensland; Diploma in Orthopaedic Medicine & Acupuncture (Western Approach) from UK.
Ashu specializes in the treatment of;
• Headaches, whiplash, neck pain,
• Low back pain with sciatica,
• Ashu has special interest in treating Vertigo patients & can perform Epley Manoeuvre
Shalaka has over 17 years experience in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy and sports injuries. She works in our clinic on Wednesdays and Fridays for any patients needing a female physiotherapist or assistance with Women’s Health Issues.
(Shalaka has completed the full course on Women’s Health in July 2016)
Shalaka has special interest in the treatment of;
• TMJ
• Neck pain with Cervicogenic headaches
• Sporting injuries
• Vestibular rehab (BPPV)
• Back, shoulder and knee pains.
Alyce has been practicing as a musculoskeletal physiotherapist for 8 years and has a special interest in the treatment of sports injuries, Pilates, exercise rehabilitation and other musculoskeletal conditions.
Alyce has special interest in the treatment of;
• Exercise rehabilitation
• Neck pain and Cervicogenic headaches
• Sporting injuries
• Lower back and knee pain.
Leigh went to boarding school in Perth at St Mary’s, Studied at Curtain University, was volunteer for church for 18 months in USA providing historical tours.
Leigh is looking forward to working with Physiocare and treating Musculoskeletal and Sports Injury patients and a variety of all injuries to gain valuable experience.
She is looking forward to working alongside with all of the Doctor’s and Allied Health Practitioners.
Ana has 10 years of experience as a physiotherapist in Australia. She has worked in a wide variety of clinical areas including Neurological Rehabilitation and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy.
She has a special interest in spinal conditions like Neck pain & headaches, Back pain. She also takes keen interest in treating Shoulder pain, Knee pain and other musculoskeletal conditions.
Ana will be available in both our Forest Lake Clinic and Browns Plains Clinic
Tim has had experience in a wide range of clinical areas over his years of study and has developed a passion for the treatment of chronic conditions. Tim has a special interest in the treatment of:

VICKY CHAN
Accupuncturist
Traditional Chinese Acupuncture, Japanese Tei Acupuncture, Taiwanese Tung’s Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine, Bachelor of Health Science (Acupuncture), Diploma of Health Science (Acupuncture) and Diploma of Remedial Therapy
Vicky has had many years experience working closely with General Practitioners, Physiotherapist and Psychologist’s to ensure the maximum result is achieved. She specializes in support of:

Jessica Lang is one of Ashu’s Receptionists, has multiple years of experience in Physiotherapy administration work including dealings with WorkCover, Medicare, DVA and Insurance correspondence.
Jess works in the Physiotherapy room inside Browns Plains Family Practice 3 days a week, for any queries regarding these areas or any other general inquires do not hesitate to contact Jess at [email protected]
