COVID-19 Notice
We are OPEN and closely following the guidelines set by the Australian Government Department of Health.

At Physiocare Pty Ltd, our priority is in ensuring our patients’ safety and peace of mind. With all of the news alerts about the coronavirus (COVID-19), we want to assure you that Physiocare Pty Ltd is monitoring the situation and have put procedures in place that follow the Australian Government Department of Health guidelines to ensure the safety of our patients, staff and providers.

TO ENSURE THAT WE CAN CONTINUE TO PROVIDE TOP-LEVEL CARE TO PATIENTS, WE HAVE IMPLEMENTED THE FOLLOWING:

  • Our clinic is being stringent in cleaning and disinfection strategies. Physiocare Pty Ltd has enhanced our cleaning practices to include disinfecting waiting areas and front desk areas. Beds, equipment and other direct patient care areas will be cleaned after each patient visit (which is standard common practice).
  • We are urging patients to follow Australian Government Department of Health guidelines and to self-quarantine if they’ve travelled to a high-risk country in the last 20 days. If patients have travelled to one of the high-risk countries in the last 20 days or are in close contact with someone who has and they’re experiencing a fever, sore throat and/or cough, we are rescheduling their appointment.
  • We will continue to actively monitor information about Coronavirus from the Australian Health Department and other public health agencies and provide updates through our website, and social media channels. Our top priority is to continue meeting the needs of our customers and ensure your health and safety.
  • We are asking patients to let us know if they are showing signs or symptoms of the COVID-19. Should this be the case we are rescheduling appointments and requesting clearance by their GP. It’s especially important you do all you can to stay healthy – So being proactive about your health – while it may not prevent you from getting sick – can certainly help keep your body’s natural defences strong.

TO PROTECT YOURSELF, YOU CAN:

  • Clean your hands often, preferably with soap and water
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth
  • Avoid close contact with someone who is sick; has travelled o/s in the last 20 days, or has been diagnosed positive with the coronavirus.

Stay home if you are sick or have been exposed.

  • Cover coughs and sneezes. Use a sanitizer straight away
  • Clean and disinfect surfaces that people touch frequently.
